this little cutie was SOO sweet and such a daddy's boy - it was so precious! at one point, mom tried getting kisses from liam, but he wasn't having it...but when dad asked for kisses he handed em out like free candy! he made me want a little boy :)

suzanne & her family were the first of one of my june mini sessions, and it was an amazing one! their family is SO cute and sweet little cara just melted me with those gorgeous eyes! suzanne and her husband actually met kind of the same way kyle and i met, so that was really neat :) hope y'all enjoy these photos as much as i do!

LOVED this mother-daughter session! journey is just the sweetest little girl and her mom just glows with love for her. it was absolutely beautiful! can't wait to see them both again :) enjoy!

FOUR homecomings!

oh my gosh, you guys have no idea how exhilarating it is to be present when someone's service member comes home from a long deployment - unless of course you've been there...then you totally understand. i cried entirely too many tears of joy watching these amazing families wait for their soldiers to come home and it is something i will always cherish. until you've seen these kinds of reunions you don't have the same kind of appreciation for what our troops do. god bless our troops <3

two homecomings!

today i got to be present at the homecoming of my friend liz's husband and kyle's friend michael. seeing the joy on their faces was absolutely priceless and i can't wait to shoot more homecomings. there's something truly special about a soldier making it back home to his or her family. i love it. enjoy!
